More About Jackie…

Jackie is an employment attorney and experienced HR Strategist. She started her career at a top national law firm as an employment litigator, where she consistently achieved favorable outcomes for her Fortune 100 clients. Later, as an HR professional serving small and medium-sized businesses, Jackie’s background in employment law set her apart as an expert in a complicated, sensitive and ever-changing field.

Jackie’s superpower, however, is her ability to quickly and authentically connect with her clients, inspiring trust and confidence. This special ability, combined with her legal expertise and 20+ years of counseling experience, has established Jackie as a trusted partner.

Jackie truly enjoys helping her clients find solutions to complex and sensitive problems. She has more than two decades of counseling experience on all manner of compliance and HR matters ranging from managing disability leaves, investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment, navigating employee terminations, demystifying FLSA classifications, addressing performance concerns and reviewing and often revamping company employment policies.

As an HR strategist, Jackie has helped her clients think long term. She has guided them from start to finish in launching diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging initiatives, rewards & recognition programs, pay equity plans, employee engagement efforts and workforce planning strategies.

As a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths Coach, Jackie works with individuals, managers and teams to better understand themselves and their colleagues and to communicate effectively in this new (often virtual) world of work, where connection and communication require intention and effort.

Jackie lives with her husband and two children in New York City. She’s a fitness enthusiast, singer, lover of racquet sports and a busy soccer mom. She proudly leads with her CliftonStrengths: Empathy, Harmony, Consistency, Achiever and Discipline.
